Tetrasodium EDTA
Chelating or sequestering agent aids in removing metal ions and trace minerals from the hair.

Cocoamidoproplt Betain
Exceptionally mild amphoteric foaming and cleansing agent derived from coconut oil. Leaves the hair clean without stripping the natural oils.

Tocopherol (Vitamin E)
Helps to prevent the forming of free radicals in the body, which is why it is known as the anti-aging vitamin.

Vitamin (A) Retinyl Palimate
is essential for healthy hair. It is better to eat vitamin-A rich foods than take supplements because an excessive intake of the vitamin can be dangerous.

Piroctone Olamine
Anti-dandruff active ingredient. Soothes inflamed scalp and reduces flaking.

S D Alcohol 40
Quick drying used in hair sprays, type of ethyl alcohol used in hair sprays and mousse.

Butyl Ester
Firm foaming copolymer adds body improves set retention and rinses easily leaving no residue. Most highly used copolymer in quality hair spray products. Used in hair sprays requiring 'all weather' humidity resistance, is highly substantive, and has excellent hair holding properties.

Dimethicone Copolyol
Silicone copolymer acts as resin plasticisers in hair sprays (for ease of washout) detackifier, adds shine.

Polyquaternium-10
A cationic, substantive polymer used for it's conditioning effects on damaged hair and for providing wet combability. Successive use presents no build-up problems.

Polyquaternium-11
A high molecular weight polymer which contributes lustre, smooth feel and body to hair. It also aids in wet combability and styling ease and is cationic, therefore substantive to hair. It is water soluble and causes no build-up problems.

Glycerine
A 3-carbon chain length fatty alcohol which is an emollient and humectant used in cosmetics and haircare products. It adsorbs moisture balance.

Dimethicone Copolymer
A non-ionic copolymer used as a plasticiser and shine ingredient for hairspray conditioners and for shampoos and conditioners.

Phenyl Trimethicone
Shine ingredients and conditioning agent.

Carbomer 940
Used as a thickener and bodifying agent emulsifying agent to form thick stable oil and water emulsions.

Cyclometicone
Volatile silicone.

Peg-12
A humectant and plasticiser for creams, lotions and conditioning systems. Also adds shine.

Polysorbate-80
Part of a conditioning complex comprised of Polysorbate 80, Cetyl Acetate and Acetylated Lanolin Alcohol.
