Human Hair FAQs
  • Astringent Products (Witch Hazel) and Braid sheen sprays can be used for itchy scalps.
  • Avoid oil and heavy conditioning or curl activating products.
  • Look for loosely hanging braids before shampooing and carefully remove.
  • Wash as needed using cold or lukewarm water to shampoo.
  • Do not ruffle hair during shampooing.
  • Do not ruffle hair during drying.
  • Blot and squeeze with towel.
  • Avoid swimming without hair plaited.
  • Avoid exposing the braids to long soakings in Jacuzzis and hot shower water.
  • Plait to dry and before bedtime to maintain textured hair look.
  • Oil scalp -- Do not oil hair.
  • Use a small amount of conditioning gel for shine.
  • Human hair will mat together if it is not plaited when wet.
  • Pin hair up or wear a scarf at night to avoid tangles.
